I have to start out by saying that everyone in this family are troopers!! I was so excited when Ashleigh reached out to me about taking their family pictures and told me they were a belated Mother’s Day gift! Chapel Hill is an area that I cover, but haven’t had anyone ask me to come there yet so this was a new experience for me. I LOVE going to new locations as our area has so many hidden gems! After talking about some beautiful spots, we decided on the Fearington location. If you have never been there you definitely need to make the trip out there. It has a similar feel that you would expect to see and feel in a small English town right down to the unique names of some of the stores. The Fearington Inn has a beautiful garden behind it, and that is where we decided to meet. The session was set for 8:30 am with the hopes that we would miss some of the CRAZY heat that was hitting us at the time, and boy were we surprised. The day was humid and hot, and I’m pretty sure my hair grew two times its original size! The family showed up looking great and ready to brave the heat. Their son Liam had the amazing 2-year-old energy, and made the session so much fun! He did such an amazing job even with all the temptation to run and play. He even took it upon himself to walk over to a wall and sit on it, and I remember saying “if he puts his hand in his pocket I’m going to die” and sure enough that cute kiddo did just that! Thank you so much for asking me to capture this special time in your family’s life, and I’m so happy everyone loved the pictures! You were such a pleasure to work with!
